The cucumbers were refreshing. Crunchy and with the right amount of vinegar and garlic.
The tendon was weird. It wasn't soft like I expected them, like at dim sum, but they were gelatin like in texture. It had some spice, but tasted off. My mom thinks it's because of the cumin.
The hot and sour soup was okay. Not as flavourful as it should be. Not hot or sour either. My mom says it's like drinking soya sauce and she had to add tons of vinegar.
The rice cake was one of the better dishes. It was well seasoned and well tossed in the wok. The rice cake may have been a little over cooked and passed the al dente stage.
The xiaolongbao had a lot of soup and tasted alright but not very flavourful. Another down side was that the skin was inconsistent. Some parts were thin, some thick.
The radish cake smelled strong. The filling was okay. But I was distracted by the unevenly cooked pastry.
Overall wasn't that impressed and probably won't return. I'd rather wait for great xiaolongbao at Long's than drive all the way here for mediocre xiaolongbao.
